How Often We Meet
The goal is a real, in-person conference once a year for each party. We are not starting there. We are building up to it in three steps, and each step uses the same speaker list and the same citizen vote on the speakers.
| Step | What it is | How often |
|---|---|---|
| The goal | An in-person conference for each party, on that party's own site, with a venue and dates | Once a year |
| Where we start | One big online event, built around video: the speakers' talks, published for every citizen to watch | Once a year |
| Along the way | Smaller online sessions with thought leaders, some of them found with the help of AI | Possibly every three months |
The goal: in person, once a year
Each party's community meets once a year to set its own direction. That is what an in-person conference does best: the people on stage and the people in the audience are in the same room, and the new political leaders the movement is backing get to meet the voters who will decide on them.
The same conference record that runs the online event today simply gains a location and dates the day there is a venue. Nothing about the speaker list, the votes or the rules changes when it moves into a room.
Where we start: one big online event a year
The first conferences are online. Once a year, each party's conference goes out in a big way as video: the speakers' talks, the speakers poster, and every speaker's own page with what we can check about them. Anyone can watch. Nobody has to travel, and nobody has to buy a ticket, because no money moves through a conference.
Along the way: thought leaders, every few months
Between the yearly events, a party's site may hold smaller online sessions, possibly as often as once every three months. One might be a conversation with a single challenger. Another might be a panel on one problem law.
Finding the right people for those sessions is where AI helps. It can search the public record for intellectual and political thought leaders who keep working for citizens, and bring their names forward. The AI only suggests. Every name it finds goes onto the same list as everyone else's, is judged on the same record, and is put to the citizens' vote like any other speaker. The AI never picks who speaks.
What stays the same at every step
- One conference per party, on that party's own site. This non-partisan site holds none. See the conferences overview.
- Citizens say who speaks, with 1 to 5 thumbs up or down on every name.
- Every speaker is judged on the record, and anyone invited who has not yet agreed carries the small star.
