Foreign Intelligence
A citizen's vote is supposed to be the last word on who governs them. It stops being the last word the moment a service that answers to another country can shape the choice, the information, or the count. Two jobs here: prevent it, and where the record shows it already happened, expose it.
Removing democracy from the outside
The forms this takes are not exotic, and each one is testable:
- Narrative control — deciding what an electorate believes it is choosing between.
- Compromise and leverage over people who hold office or want to.
- Access to classified systems, which converts a foreign service into a participant in American decisions.
Puppet-mastering politics and citizens
The same test used elsewhere on this site applies: where a decision depends on information or leverage controlled by an outside party, that party is a party to the decision. When the outside party is a foreign state, an American voter has been quietly removed from their own election.
Systems, budgets and data
The structural half of the problem, where the exposure is written into arrangements rather than into any one incident:
- No integration of our military, classified systems, or data networks with foreign countries — integration is access, and access does not un-happen.
- No US defense and research budgets handed abroad — American research money buying capability that ends up outside American control.
- No citizen data to foreign countries — the outbound leak that US Intelligence covers from the domestic side.
Paid influencers and propagandists
The cheapest available operation is not a break-in. It is a payroll — accounts, personalities and outlets operating as if they were ordinary citizens, at a scale no ordinary citizen can match.
The defense is not censorship, and this site does not propose any. It is a mesh of verified real citizens whose votes count, which is what makes a purchased crowd stop working. That mechanism is Trust Scores.
