The Leader History Book
Most of what a movement does is a month of work that adds to a total. Some of it is not. Somebody finds the document. Somebody recruits the person who wins the seat. Somebody proves the record was wrong.
The Leader History Book is the permanent record of those.
What it is
A curated, append-only record of historic contributions and the citizens who made them — the movement's own history of how its changes actually happened, written while the people who did it are still around to correct it.
Hash-chained on purpose
Entries are hash-chained: each one commits to the one before it, so the record cannot be quietly edited, reordered, or have an inconvenient entry removed later without the break being visible.
This is not decoration. A movement built on the argument that institutions rewrite their own records would be indefensible if its own history could be quietly revised — and "trust us, we would not" is exactly the answer it refuses to accept from anybody else.
How something gets in
Nominations come from two directions:
- Citizens nominate, which is the main route.
- The AI pass nominates — the monthly assembly writes a narrative summary of the month, notes standouts and integrity flags, and proposes history-book entries.
The AI pass is advisory only. It never awards a point and it never writes an entry. It reads the month and makes suggestions; humans decide.
Nominations are reviewed like everything else, and a decline states its reason.
What an entry contains
What was done, when, by whom, what changed as a result, and the evidence for each of those. An entry that cannot say what changed is a nice story, and nice stories go in the blog.
