What We Are, and Why We Cannot Be Taken Over
A movement built to remove capture has to be built so that it cannot itself be captured. Otherwise it is just the next thing somebody buys.
The lesson we took
Charlie Kirk built the largest conservative youth organization in America. After his death on September 10, 2025, that organization was restructured within days, in ways supporters say served interests he had publicly opposed.
The lesson is not about any one person. It is about structure. An organization whose leadership answers to donors, sponsors, or a self-appointing board can be redirected the moment its founder is gone. An organization whose leadership answers to its members cannot.
So this is not a tribute. It is a correction.
What that means in practice
- A movement, not a bureaucracy. Very lightweight by design — the way Charlie Kirk always said TPUSA should have worked. That is the argument in Replacement for TPUSA.
- Member-owned. Every major decision flows up from the membership. The board serves at the pleasure of the people, not the other way around.
- Radically transparent. All finances, all board votes, all major decisions — documented and published. Every dollar visible.
- Uncapturable. No single donor, corporation, or foreign interest may hold outsized influence. Grassroots funding from real Americans only.
- Accountable. An elected board with term limits, annual independent audits published in full, and any board member recallable by member vote.
Why it belongs on this page
Because it is the same test we apply to a member of Congress. We exist to establish whether an incumbent is captured and to replace the captured ones with challengers who are not. A movement that could not pass its own test would have nothing to say.
