US Intelligence Answers to US Citizens

No agency gets to decide an election. US intelligence services answer to US citizens, or they are not ours.

  • The failure mode is a service taking direction from non-citizens, from foreign money, or from a private power that never stood for election.
  • Leverage over officeholders is how capture actually works. Collected files, selective leaks, and briefings used as pressure all count.
  • Oversight you can verify, not oversight you are told exists.
  • Candidates get measured on whether they will impose that control, not on whether they say they support it.

Foreign services are the next area. This one is about our own.

What can actually be checked

  • Every claim traces to the official record — the House Clerk, the Senate, congress.gov, govinfo, the FEC, a state's own site. Not a news write-up and not a summary site.
  • The vote and our reading of it are two separate columns. "Voted yea" is a public fact with a citation next to it. "This one went against citizens" is our reading, and it is labelled as ours.
  • Where there is no member-level record at all — a voice vote, unanimous consent, a committee action taken without objection — that gets written down as a gap rather than skipped. "No member is on record on this provision" is itself the finding.

Where this sits

This is one area of We The Citizens R, the Republican front door at WeCitizensR.com. It is written for Republican voters, and nothing on the other three doors decides what belongs here.
