Democratic Socialists, Not the Establishment

We are talking to the voter, not to the officeholder and not to the party apparatus.

We speak to the voter. Not to the incumbent officeholder, and not to the machinery around them.
Incumbents controlled by special interests and concentrated money are the thing we are replacing, and plenty of them run as allies of this community.
Saying that out loud is what separates this from a party organ. A party organ protects its incumbents. We do not have any to protect.
