Four pillars
Pillar 1 — Voting and policy decisions
A citizen records their position on any societal issue. In Community Mode, positions from many people are pooled into a community decision, and the delta between an individual's position and the group's is itself shown — the disagreement is information, not noise to be averaged away.
Pillar 2 — Law generation
Citizens define what problems exist; the platform helps turn that into proposed laws that would fix them. Laws are derived from what people are actually prioritising, which connects citizen will to legislative language instead of leaving it as sentiment.
→ Fixing the law and Fix bills
Pillar 3 — Ethics and value systems
A citizen captures their rules for deciding this-versus-that — what matters more, what is ethical, how a situation should be handled — as a structured, machine-readable value system. An AI can then ingest it and apply their values, consistently, to situations they will never personally have time to work through.
Value systems travel: you can publish yours as a policy packet, or import somebody else's whose judgment you trust.
→ Values
Pillar 4 — Decisions under incomplete information
The pillar the others rest on. It addresses the deliberate deadlock: a slice of evidence is withheld on purpose, then the absence is used to forbid any conclusion.
A citizen lays out the links they have, names the links they are missing and why, sets their own threshold for acting, and reaches a conclusion with the whole chain visible. The reasoning is checked from first principles rather than against an authority.
→ Evidence
Why these four, and in this order
They are one loop, not a menu.
Pillar 4 gives you the right to conclude at all
Pillar 3 supplies the values the conclusion is measured by
Pillar 1 records the decision, alone or pooled
Pillar 2 turns it into language somebody could actually file
Take any one away and the chain breaks. Without 4 you never get to decide. Without 3 the decision has no standard behind it. Without 1 it is not recorded. Without 2 it never becomes anything.
